January 29 Nokia has announced that it has reached an agreement, will be 843 million NOK (about 153.3 million U.S. dollars) acquisition of software company Trolltech, to promote its software and services business.
This week, Nokia announced that the price will be SEK 16 per share acquisition of Trolltech. Last Friday, Trolltech's closing price of 10 kronor.
Nokia said that holders of 35,024,830 shares (representing the number of outstanding shares Trolltech 66.43%) of the Trolltech shareholders have agreed to accept this price.
Nokia expects the transaction will be completed in the second quarter.
